I have lived in the westcountry most of my life.
I pride myself on being self taught in various mediums and I have developed my style through time, experimentation and application.

My latest ventures, are 'JEWELS SCAPES' which are artworks of the sea, landscape and moorland in jewel like colours with oil paint and metallic collage giving lovely iridescent effects.

I paint directly from nature with Watercolour studies or Charcoal Sketches with notes on the colours done at the location. preferring not to use photographs to achieve a more painterly quality to my work. 

I have been painting for some time now, I find the process of creating art a more fulfilling and rewarding experience each time I paint.

Other subjects include flamboyant colour Still Lifes, Impressionistic Floral Landscape, Life Drawing and Ethereal Images of Faces.

I am continually inspired to paint the beautiful Devon Coastline, Moorlands and Landscapes.

My Textile work is hand stitched on fabric or silk, the subjects vary from portrait, landscape, floral or abstract.

I have made some of my abstract fabric work into small brooches so I can actually wear my art.
